  1. Complete the online application.
  2. SSBT will assess your completed application. If you meet academic requirements, a conditional or unconditional Offer Letter will be issued along with an acceptance offer form.

Below procedure applies to International Students

  1. You may be required to undergo additional Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) assessment under the Streamlined Student Visa Framework (SSVF). Your Offer Letter will tell you if you are required to do this and once you have completed this additional assessment, SSBT will advise you whether you can proceed with your admission. You must not pay any tuition fees prior to SSBT advising of the outcome of your GTE assessment.
  2. When you are ready to accept your offer (you must have met all conditions in your offer letter first), you need to complete and sign the Offer Acceptance letter and organise payment of fees.
  3. SSBT will process your acceptance. You will be issued with a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) for your visa application.
  4. Once you receive a CoE, then you need to apply for a student visa. For details on how to apply, please visit Home Affairs or our Student Visa page.
  5. Once your Student visa is approved, you should arrange your travel and accommodation as soon as possible.
  6. Plan to arrive in enough time to attend the compulsory International Student Orientation and Enrolment prior to commencing your studies.

If you have completed the equivalent of Australian Year 10 or 11, you will most likely begin your studies at Certificate III level. If you have
completed the equivalent of Australian Year 12, you may start at Certificate IV or Diploma level. Each study area is different so please refer to the
specific course information located in the courses section of this guide.
