How to get there
Our state of the art Brisbane campus is located right in the heart of Queensland’s capitol city. Just a
short walk from public transport, our school is right in the middle of some of the city’s best
shopping, restaurants and night life. Before or after class, or even during break time, its easy to find
exciting things to do in the city. Brisbane is one of the more affordable cities in Australia so it’s not
hard to find reasonably priced accommodation relatively close to the school. Also Brisbane northerly
locating gives it mild winters and long summers. So if you’re a beach kind of person this is the place
Our classrooms contain all the features expected of a modern learning environment. Bright rooms,
with multimedia projectors and comfortable furniture will make studying a pleasure. And with easy
Wi-Fi access in all of our rooms you will find it easy to stay connected. We want to make sure our
students can study in peace, so we make sure all of our rooms have ample space to accommodate
even large numbers of students but not so huge that you can’t hear the trainer. Our Burwood
campus also offer unique “firepit” style classroom, where the students sit around a central work
area. This allows for greater student to student communication and promotes classroom
Australians love the outdoors. And Queensland is known as the “sunshine state”. So come and enjoy
our spacious outdoor area. Just take in the fresh air, or enjoy a barbecue with your classmates.
Brisbane is a city, but it is not exactly a bustling metropolis, this means that you can enjoy the
outside areas without the noise and pollution you might get in some bigger cities. This space also
allows us to hold special events such as graduation celebrations.
It’s important to study hard, but its important to wind down as well. Chill out with your mates in our
recreation area. Play a game, chat with friends or work on some of your own extracurricular
activities. The rec area is your space, a space for all students to share and come together. Making
new friends can be one of the more difficult parts of moving abroad, which is why we encourage our
students to get involved in the rec area activities and meet new people. Many of our students make
lasting friendships with people from all over the world.
Our childcare rooms are designed with the facilities of the modern childcare centre in mind. ECEC is
a unique filed of study and requires a unique learning environment. Working with the toys, books,
and art supplies means that after studying in our childcare rooms, you will be ready for your work-
placement. The school also hold playgroup events so that our ECEC students can get a feel of what it
is like to actually be in a centre with kids. This is a great way to get hands on practical experience.
Hospitality restaurant setting
For our hospitality students we have a specialized hospitality room designed to recreate a realistic
restaurant environment. You will get practical training that will give you insight into what to expect
in real world bar or restaurant environments. Learn how to mix drinks, make coffee, plate up meals
and serve in a busy eatery workspace, while at the same time safe with the knowledge that your
trainer and fellow students are there to support you.
