On successful completion of the course, students will receive RII60520 Advanced Diploma of
Civil Construction Design.

This qualification reflects the role of an individual working as a senior civil works designer or a para-professional designer, who supports professional engineers. They perform tasks that are broad, specialised, complex and technical and include strategic areas and initiating activities.

They are responsible for the design of complex projects to ensure the
implementation of the client’s site requirements and are required to demonstrate self-directed application of theoretical and technical knowledge and initiate solutions to technical problems or management requirements.

Employment pathways are available to students who complete this qualification in:
Civil Engineering Technician/ Draftsperson, Site Manager, Senior Civil Designer.

     •  Combination of practical and written exercises which may include structured activities such as simulation exercises/role-plays, Projects, Presentations, Activity sheets including questioning (Written questions, Interviews, Self-evaluation, Verbal questioning, Questionnaires, Oral or written examinations)

Civil Engineering Technician/ Draftsperson, Site Manager, Senior Civil Designer.

 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

All students entering this course must have completed Year 10 or equivalent qualification.

Candidates students must demonstrate English language proficiency of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent. 

Students with no formal qualifications are required to successfully complete the LLN test and
meet with the Training Manager to be admitted.

Student must possess & bring their own laptop/notebook to class fully charged.

Overseas students can only enroll face to face 20 hours per week.
