Where to Live in Sydney
Much of Sydney has enclaves with varied national cultures, along with varied rental prices, some sky-high.
A shared unit or house in Waterloo, Surry Hills, or Randwick will be handy to the CBD for $250-350 pw, but with some extra utilities’ costs and bond.
Burwood Campus Accommodation:
There is student accommodation in Burwood, Lakemba, Homebush and Earlwood (all 3-5 km away), ranging from $160 – $250 weekly. The best ones are fully-furnished double rooms, with all bills/internet included.
With only 25% of about 16,000 Burwood residents born in Australia, you will find a variety of ethnicities, including Chinese (34%), Indian, and Korean. The surrounding suburbs of the inner west are also commonly used by students.
